Niagara (1953)

I had a big Monroe Marathon last week and this was the second film going so I said to myself well I would read a review about this film on a blog or website or any other device such as a book and I presumed so would you so here I am with my little review. I loved Niagara I am doing a study of it in my art project. The whole femme fatale of it is my favourite. The kiss seen is so perfect the way she is messing with his head, making him seem mad it should be remembered for centuries. I do believe that this is some of Marilyn's best acting she works so well with this film the plot suits her because she can easily become a sexy, devilish women an ultimate femme fatale.
I rate this film a 7 out of 10.

Brief Plot (CONTAINS SPOILERS SO IF YOU DON'T WANT THE ENDING RUINED THEN LOOK AWAY NOW): A couple going on a late honeymoon to Niagara falls were they meet a mysterious husband and wife having relationship problems (very big problems might I add). Marilyn Monroe played the wife trapped in a broken marriage she resented her husband to a great extent and persuaded her lover to murder her husband. When the murder takes place (which you don’t see) the husband ends up killing the lover (pushing him off of Niagara Falls) and is then in pursuit of a paranoid Marilyn.
