Fred and Ginger, Astaire and Rogers, Dancing and well more dancing, what more could you want. Today is a once in a lifetime opportunity, yes you got it is a Fred and Ginger marathon (hence the title), now please contain your excitement as I have been trying to do. It is on a certain film channel which I'm not sure if I am aloud to name so it shall be left nameless but if you are desperate to watch then search EVERY channel. The films they are showing are (drum roll please).....

He was The Hero. Before the days of John Wayne, or Humphrey Bogart, or even a full-blooded Gary Cooper. Sure, they were big stars too, in their own sweet right. But, Fred Astaire will always be the original hero, for whom, it is said that, Audrey Hepburn went misty-eyed. And Ginger Roberts, boy, could she dance! Thanks for this post, and for this blog too.
